JNU MA Economics Entrance

Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) offers a two years full time special Master's program (M.A.) in Economics with specialization in the World Economy. It was started in year 1995 with an aim to give more emphasis on global economic issues trade, currency regulatory economics and finance. JNU MA Economics programme is quite unique in terms of course content as it enables students to work with analytical tools and techniques required to learn world economy. The programme has excellent placement track record, some of our students are working with world'd leading banks and financial institutions like HSBC, ICICI, CII, American Express and others.

Admissions Procedure:

To select candidate for this MA Economics program JNU conducts a written test on all-India basis. The question paper will based on microeconomics, macroeconomics, mathematics, statistics and some other subjects related to public economics and economic development.

Eligibility Criteria:

Bachelors Degree (with 50% marks in aggregate) – Economics (Hons) with Mathematic as subsidiary subject, Maths (Hons) with Economics as subsidiary subject, Statistics (Hons) with Mathematics and Economics as subsidiary subjects.
